Disney's Princess Mulan debuted in the 1994 Disney movie Mulan. The movie was based on a legendary figure, as well as a Disney short video. Mulan is a young Chinese girl who fights to bring honour to her family, defeating invaders against all odds.

The obverse has the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, while the reverse features a colourized image of Mulan as she appeared in the Disney film.
