The reverse shows the quintessential symbol of America, the bald eagle with outspread wings, clutching a bundle of arrows in one talon, while an olive branch is held in the other. The eagle is encapsulated by the coins country of issue and denominational value, “In God we trust” can also be seen above the eagles head.
