The reverse of this coin features an image of Alley Mill, which was completed in 1894 and still contains some of the original milling equipment. Alley Mill was eventually a centre for community life, including a store and blacksmith shop. The mill was only marginally successful as it was set up to grind wheat while corn was the main crop in the area.
